Candy Decay Food Studies are small, spontaneous original oil paintings, painted by me in my studio with loose brushwork, visible texture and bright color.

Each study is a one-of-a-kind original, usually 15 × 15 cm / 5.9 × 5.9 in. They are made to work on their own or grow into a small collection over time.

I paint this series in oils because I love how the colors can be pushed, blended and layered while the brushwork stays visible.

Please note: Freshly painted Food Studies usually ship approximately 6 weeks after purchase. Oil paint needs time to dry, and every painting receives a protective final varnish before it is carefully packed.
