Refund & Withdrawal Policy

Right of Withdrawal

If you are entitled to a statutory right of withdrawal, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

For physical goods, the withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party designated by you who is not the carrier, receives the goods.

If several goods from one order are delivered separately, the withdrawal period begins when the last item is received.

of your decision to withdraw from the contract by a clear statement, for example by email or letter.

You may use the model withdrawal form at the bottom of this policy, but you are not required to do so.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient to send your notice before the 14-day withdrawal period has expired.

Returning Physical Items

After notifying me of your withdrawal, you must return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after your notice of withdrawal.

Unless mandatory law provides otherwise, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods.

Please pack returned artwork carefully so that it is adequately protected during transport.

You may inspect an item as you would reasonably be able to in a physical shop. You may be responsible for any loss in value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Refunds After Withdrawal

If you validly withdraw from the contract, I will refund the payments received from you, including the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option offered for your order.

Additional costs resulting from your choice of a more expensive delivery method are not refundable.

Refunds will be made without undue delay and no later than 14 days after I receive your withdrawal notice.

For physical goods, I may withhold the refund until I have received the returned goods or until you provide evidence that you have sent them back, whichever occurs first.

Unless otherwise agreed, the refund will be issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase. You will not be charged a fee for the refund.

Digital Downloads

Special rules apply to digital products that are supplied electronically.

Where legally permitted, the statutory right of withdrawal expires once delivery of the digital content has begun if you have expressly agreed that delivery may begin before the end of the withdrawal period and acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal.

If these legal requirements have not been met, your statutory rights remain unaffected.

Personalized Products

The statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that are made specifically according to your individual specifications or are clearly personalized, for example an artwork customized with a name, personal text or customer-supplied image.

A product is not automatically excluded from the right of withdrawal merely because it is produced after an order is placed.

Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items

The right of withdrawal is separate from your rights if an item arrives damaged, is defective or is not the item you ordered.

If there is a problem with your order, please contact me and include:

  • your order number,

  • a short description of the problem, and

  • photos of the item and packaging where helpful.

Please keep the packaging until the issue has been resolved.

Your statutory rights regarding defective or non-conforming goods remain unaffected by this policy.

Orders Lost in Transit

If your shipment appears to be lost or significantly delayed, please contact me with your order number.

I will review the shipment information and help determine the appropriate next steps.

Exchanges

I do not operate a general exchange service.

If you would like a different non-personalized item and you have a statutory right of withdrawal, you may withdraw from the original purchase according to the conditions above and place a new order separately.

This does not affect your rights where an item is defective, damaged or incorrect.

No Additional Voluntary Return Period

Unless otherwise stated for a specific product, Paintranger does not offer an additional voluntary return period beyond your statutory rights.

Any mandatory consumer rights applicable to you remain unaffected.
