What Is Pastel Goth? A Sweet Horror Style Guide for Room Decor

If you've spent any time on Pinterest or TikTok lately, you've probably run into the term pastel goth. It's one of those aesthetics that sounds like a contradiction at first: soft pinks, baby blues and candy colors paired with skulls, bats and just a touch of the macabre. But once you see it, it makes perfect sense, and it turns out to be an incredibly fun way to decorate a room.

So what exactly is pastel goth?

Pastel goth room decor takes the classic gothic love of skulls, bones and dark imagery and reworks it in a soft, candy-colored palette instead of the usual black and deep purple. • Don't be afraid of color. Unlike traditional goth decor, pastel goth thrives on saturated, playful color rather than black and grey.
