Pastel Goth Room Decor Ideas for a Cute Creepy Home

If your dream room lives somewhere between a candy shop and a graveyard, you're in exactly the right place. Pastel goth, sometimes called "cute creepy" or gothic kawaii, mixes soft, sugary colors like bubblegum pink, mint and lavender with darker, weirder subject matter: skulls, skeletons, decay, a bit of dark humor.

Here's how I'd decorate a pastel goth room using pieces from my own Candy Decay world, starting with the free option in case you want to try the aesthetic before committing to a wall.

It's pink, glittery and genuinely about death, which is sort of the whole point of the aesthetic: nothing is only cute, and nothing is only creepy.
