The Story Behind the Candy Decay Postcard Club

Most of my artwork starts the same way: a strange idea, too many colors, and the feeling that something beautiful and temporary is worth celebrating.

The problem is that original paintings aren't for everyone. They take days to create, and they can be expensive to collect. I wanted a way to share my work that felt more accessible, more personal, and a little more unexpected.

That's how the Candy Decay Postcard Club was born.

Every month, I send one surprise postcard somewhere into the world. No choosing. No endless scrolling. Just a small piece of Candy Decay arriving in your mailbox.

I love the idea of art that travels. A postcard can cross oceans, survive bent corners, collect stamps, and arrive with a few imperfections that become part of its story. It feels different from seeing an image on a screen.

Why Snail Mail Still Matters

We spend most of our days looking at screens. We scroll, swipe, like, save, and move on to the next thing within seconds. Digital art can be beautiful, but it often disappears into an endless stream of content.

That's one reason why snail mail feels special today. A postcard is something you can actually hold. It travels across countries, collects stamps and marks along the way, and arrives with a story of its own. Instead of disappearing in a feed, it becomes part of your space.

Maybe it's pinned to a wall, tucked into a sketchbook, or sitting on a desk waiting to make someone smile. In a world where almost everything is instant and digital, receiving something physical feels surprisingly meaningful. That's a big part of what inspired the Candy Decay Postcard Club.

What You'll Receive

Each month, members receive one surprise postcard featuring a piece of Candy Decay artwork. Every postcard is hand-signed and embossed with my artist seal before it leaves my studio. I also add stamps and small details that make every shipment feel personal and artist-made rather than mass-produced.

The club is intentionally simple. Join once and you'll receive a new surprise postcard every month. Each edition belongs to a specific month, making it a small collectible piece of the Candy Decay universe.

A Small Piece of Art That Travels

For me, the best part is imagining where these cards end up. Maybe on a fridge in Canada, pinned to a wall in Australia, or tucked inside a sketchbook somewhere in Germany.
