Surreal Animal Art: Why Weird Creatures Make the Best Wall Art

It's the kind of art that makes guests stop and ask "wait, what's going on here?"
That's the whole idea behind Candy Decay. Every creature in this world is a little bit cute, a little bit off, and fully committed to its own bizarre logic. Here's a tour of five of my favorites.
Weird Pigeon
My most recognizable character, and for good reason. Pigeons are the most unbothered animals on earth, they don't ask permission to exist places, and neither does this one. Give him a hat and a slice of pizza and suddenly he's the most confident creature in the room.
Sugar and Scavenging
Raccoons are scavengers by nature, so I leaned all the way in: this one is surrounded by strawberries and bones, wide-eyed and completely unashamed about it. It's about sweetness and decay living side by side, which is more or less the mission statement of my entire art style.

Ocean Dropout
A fish who's clearly given up on the whole "ocean" plan and drifted into a melting ice cream dessert instead. It's a small, silly rebellion and exactly the kind of quietly weird piece that grows on you the longer it hangs on your wall.
Banana Republic
A crow ruling from a banana throne, because crows are already the most self-possessed birds alive and I wanted to give one an actual kingdom. Dark, a little regal, and completely sure of itself.

A whole sky full of frogs, drifting through dreamy pastel clouds like it's the most normal weather forecast in the world. Proof that surreal animal art doesn't have to be dark to be memorable, sometimes it just has to commit fully to its own logic.
